Nacogdoches Police Department

Police Chief Jim Sevey will report on policing issues related to Nacogdoches. The mission of the Nacogdoches Police Department is to deliver courteous and professional public safety services to the citizens of, and visitors to, this community in a fair and impartial manner respecting the rights of all persons.  Unity in our country is needed now, more than ever.  And, the need for police is something that unites us all.  Here’s our opportunity to show respect, support, and appreciation for the work of police everywhere—especially here in Nacogdoches.
