Program 2017-03-01 (SFA Bell Carillon Refurbishment Project)
Dr. Buddy Himes, Dean of the College of Fine Arts at Stephen F. Austin State University was the guest speaker at the Wednesday, March 1, 2017, meeting of the Rotary Club of Nacogdoches. Dr. Himes provided a program covering SFA’s Bell Carillon Refurbishment Project.

The program detailed a complete refurbishment and enhancement of East Texas’ only authentic bell carillon which is now once again active on the campus of Stephen F. Austin State University. The project was made possible by collaboration between the SFA’s College of Fine Arts and the Charles and Lois Marie Bright Foundation which provided major funding for it through the SFASU Foundation.
